Blue Horizons Ultimate Winter Time is an advanced, copper-free algaecide designed to prevent algae growth in outdoor swimming pools during late autumn, winter, and early spring. A single application can inhibit algae for up to six months. This product also reduces the chances of stains and scale formations when the pool is not in use.
 
Instructions
Before applying Blue Horizons Ultimate Winter Time, make sure the pool water is clear and devoid of algae and debris.

To achieve a free chlorine level of 10mg/l (ppm), shock dose the pool using Blue Horizons Granular Shock, Rapid Shock, or Shock ‘n’ Floc.

Slowly add the necessary amount of Blue Horizons Ultimate Winter Time to the pool while the pumps are operating, preferably near the water inlets for better distribution.
Monitor and adjust the pH level to maintain the recommended winter range of 7.6 – 7.8.
Run the circulation system continuously to ensure thorough distribution of Blue Horizons Ultimate Winter Time in the pool.

In case of a mild winter and spring, periodically shock dose the pool with chlorine to maintain clarity as the air temperature rises.
